History of Mr. Lube
In 1976 Clifford and Arnold Giese opened their first location of Mr. Lube in Edmonton, Alberta. The main goal for these two were very clear: Do the oil changes without any appointment and to make the turn around of customer high.
After the success of their store, they decided to get into the franchise program. In 1981 they started to sell franchises but one thing they needed was to keep the original ideals with them. More stores opened around Canada making Mr. Lube Canada's largest automotive maintenance service provider.
